No Carosa Commentary appeared this week. In its place appeared an unsigned Editorial concerning the school budget vote.

Author’s Comment: This one was a little strange. OK, OK, so my submitted commentary on the Speed of Light (which appeared the following week) represented one of my “intellectual” topics (remember, I was trying to cycle themes so I wasn’t stuck on local or national or politics or fun for consecutive weeks). There was a nig school budget vote coming up that had a lot of people talking.
More strange, though, was the publication of an unsigned editorial. It was against our policy to publish unsigned editorials so it was clear who the thoughts came from. Certainly, as a publisher of the Sentinel, I was afraid the piece might have been attributed to me, especially since my usual Commentary did not appear. In the end, I don’t remember anyone ever accusing me of writing it, so it turned out OK. Still, I wasn’t too happy that I was kept out of the loop.
